Serving Our Community

community service, teens

This week, a group of our Redemption Valley Church teens picked up shovels, dirt and pavers—not for themselves, but to bless someone else. Together, they spent the day building a patio for a dear family in our fellowship. What started as a simple service project quickly turned into something more meaningful. As they worked under the summer sun—hauling sand, laying stones, and sharing laughs—these young men and women put their faith into action. The new patio will give this family a peaceful outdoor space to rest and reflect, but even more importantly, it reminds them and all of us that we part of a larger family in Christ. We’re so grateful for our teens and loving service to members of our community. May their example inspire us all to keep looking for ways to serve others with our hands and our hearts.
