Jim, a 4th generation Coloradan, grew up both physically and spiritually in the suburbs of Denver. Jim attended Denver Seminary and served as a missions pastor at Southern Gables in Littleton for several years before the Lord called he and his family to be missionaries in Vietnam for 7 years. It was there that he co-led a church in Ho Chi Minh City. Shortly after returning to the United States in 2014, Jim became the Lead Pastor at Harvest Bible Church where he served until 2022, when he stepped down after the death of his first wife, Kerri. God, however; was not done with Jim and provided him with a second wife, Leda, whose husband has passed away shortly before Kerri did. Together Jim and Leda have 8 children. Both Jim and Leda have journeyed through the heartache of losing their best friends together and the joy of seeing God in midst of it all. Jim, drawing on his years of pastoring in both Colorado and Vietnam, is excited to be the Lead Pastor at Redemption Valley Church in Elizabeth. His heart is to share Christ with the people of Elizabeth by preaching the Gospel and making Christ known.
